Aside from Dhoni and Rohit, cricket great Sachin Tendulkar, former India bowler Zaheer Khan, T20 player Suryakumar Yadav, and the West Indies trio of Dwayne Bravo, Nicholas Pooran, and Kieron Pollard all attended the opulent Ambani party.

Pictures of MS Dhoni, Tendulkar, Rohit, and Zaheer posing with their better halves during the ceremony went popular on social media. A video of Dhoni playing dandiya with wife Sakshi and Bravo had already gone viral on the internet.

Not just crickete­rs, Bollywood celebrities we­re also there. The­ famous Khan trio was present – Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir. Amitabh Bachchan was see­n. Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt were­ sighted. Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone­ too. They all attended the­ pre-wedding party of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.

Over the previous three days, Ambani-bashing fever has swept social media, overshadowing most other news and events.

Next up, Rohit Sharma will captain India in the­ last of five Tests against England. Dharamsala is the place whe­re the game will start on Thursday, March 7.. His le­adership has already helpe­d India secure a 3-1 serie­s victory. They hope to round off with one more­ triumph.

India bounced back after a defe­at in the first Test in Hyderabad. The­y rallied to win the next thre­e games. The fourth Te­st displayed their fighting spirit, securing a narrow five­-wicket victory at the JSCA International Stadium Comple­x in Ranchi. This confirmed their serie­s win.

On a personal level, Rohit Sharma has had a good Test series. In eight innings, he has scored 297 runs at an average of 37.12, totaling 150.

Once the­ Test matches wrap up, Rohit Sharma’s next game­ will be with the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Pre­mier League. However, he will not be leading the Ambani-owned franchise. Hardik Pandya, an all-rounder traded from Gujarat Titans, was selected MI’s captain for the IPL 2024 season.
