Avesh Khan, the IPL 2022 mega-auction’s biggest signing in the Indian speed department, had a good performance last year. This time, though, the quick bowler has just not turned up.
Avesh didn’t look to be fully fit, since his tempo and accuracy were far lower than normal. He has only seven wickets at an economy rate of 9.37 in eight matches. at a post h even lost his starting spot.
Avesh has played 15 T20Is for India, although his statistics aren’t particularly impressive. After a mediocre IPL season, his prospects of playing for the Men in Blue may be much slimmer.
1) Deepak Hooda | LSG
Deepak Hooda, another LSG player who has failed to perform in IPL 2023, is having possibly the worst probable individual season.
Hooda has scored 64 runs for the Super Giants in 10 matches, with an average of 7.11 and a strike rate of 91.42. He has only hit three fours and one six in 70 balls. This year, his highest score has been 17.
Hooda made his international debut last year and made an immediate impression, amassing a hundred points. His part-time off-spin was a big assistance, although it’s worth remembering that he’s only bowled six balls in the competition so far.
Hooda, who has also lost his batsmanship, is unlikely to be called up to the Indian T20I squad in the near future.
