Yash Dayal dismissed the on-fire Abhishek Sharma in the IPL 2024 clash of SRH and RCB. It happened at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Thursday (April 25). Abhishek Sharma scored 31 runs off 13 deliveries. He struck two sixes and three fours before getting out.
The dismissal occurred during the fourth over of SRH’s run chase. Dayal delivered a full-length ball, and Abhishek Sharma attempted a lofted stroke, but ended up with a top edge that flew into the air. Wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik settled beneath it to complete the aerial catch.
To outfox Abhishek Sharma, the left-arm pacer accelerated the tempo. It was identical to how T Natarajan dismissed Faf du Plessis earlier in the game.

With the wicket, RCB dismissed both SRH openers for 37/2 in 3.4 overs. Will Jacks had sent back Travis Head in the opening over of the game.

RCB set a 207-run target for SRH in IPL 2024 encounter

Patidar smashed a rapid 50 off 20 deliveries, five sixes, two fours. They shared a 65-run third-wicket partnership.
Meanwhile, Cameron Green and skipper Faf du Plessis scored 37* (20) and 25 (12), respectively.
Jaydev Unadkat shined with the ball for the Sunrisers in his 100th IPL match, ending with 3/30, while T Natarajan took two wickets. Captain Pat Cummins and Mayank Markande each took one wicket.
SRH were 68-4 after seven overs, with Nitish Reddy and Shahbaz Ahmed at the crease. Heinrich Klaasen was the last batsman out, caught by Cameron Green at mid-on off Swapnil Singh.
RCB will attempt to revenge their 25-run setback to SRH earlier this season. They have had one win in eight games so far. Meanwhile, SRH has won five of its first seven games, including the last four on the trot.
