The Indian batting superstar Virat Kohli was blessed when the opportunity arose to cuddle a sweet pup while enjoying time away with his family, and the resulting photo exhibits an ear-to-ear grin from Kohli.
Virat Kohli is still due a big knock in the Tests
After an unsuccessful third Test in India, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh – perhaps hoping that its peaceful and holy environment might help him get his groove back for the final Test in Ahmedabad. On several occasions, Kohli had seemed close to reaching a century in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy – yet poor luck and perhaps some errors in judgement have left him stuck in a three-year Test century drought.
India’s batting performance in the series left much to be desired, and even though the lower-order managed to salvage them in the first two matches, they could not pull off a similar rescue act in Indore. As such, specialist batsmen like Kohli must now take up the mantle and make sure they put up substantial scores in the last Test.
