Despite Virat Kohli’s absence, India may be able to rectify their batting experience deficit to some extent, as both KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja have allegedly been certified fit for the third Test against England. The match will be played in Rajkot beginning February 15.

Rahul complained of soreness in his right quadriceps muscle, and Jadeja damaged his hamstring during the first Test in Hyderabad. The duo’s likely comeback would undoubtedly strengthen the batting line-up and provide skipper Rohit Sharma with a wicket-taking option in Jadeja.
