This comment followed Bumrahs pivotal contribution to the­ Men in Blues remarkable­ sixrun victory against archrivals Pakistan at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Ne­w York on Sunday June 9.

Jasprit Bumrah has been India’s top performer through the first two games of the competition. He rebounded with 2/6 against Ireland before going 3/14 against the Men in Green. He removed Pakistani wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan, who threatened to end the game, shifting the tide in India’s advantage.
