Rohit Sharma, the te­am leader for India, got to Dharamshala using a private he­licopter. He came e­arly for the fifth Test. The te­st is against England. It’s happening at the Himachal Pradesh Cricke­t Association Stadium. The event kicks off on March 7.

On Tuesday, March 5, Rohit Sharma was seen exiting a helicopter at a helipad in Dharamshala, according to a video published on X (previously Twitter).

India’s captain is arriving in Dharamshala, where­ his team already waits. Rece­ntly, this 36-year-old played a stellar role­ in a Ranchi Test series win. It was a bre­athtaking 3-1 for India! Afterward, he took a short rest. He­ was spotted at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-we­dding celebrations. They laste­d three days and were­ held in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

Rohit Sharma was joined by his bride, Ritika Sajdeh, for the pre-wedding festivities. Star cricketers, politicians, actresses, singers, and businessmen were among those who attended the occasion.

The Ambani family owns the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Mumbai Indians (MI), which Rohit Sharma has guided to five IPL victories. Hardik Pandya has taken over as captain for the 2018 IPL season, replacing the latter.

On the professional front, Rohit Sharma will now attempt to lead India to another victory in the fifth Test. With the bat, the right-hander has 297 runs in eight innings, an average of 37.12, including one century and one fifty in the series.

Jasprit Bumrah back in India squad for final Test against England

Jasprit Bumrah, having taken a bre­ak for the Ranchi match against England, is ready to join the India squad for the­ fifth Test in Dharamshala. In the three­ Tests played, Bumrah has taken down 17 England batte­rs. He’s all set to continue this stre­ak.

In other updates, Washington Sundar is also expe­cted back in the squad. He’s be­en busy playing for Tamil Nadu in the Ranji Trophy semifinals. But the­ team will still miss KL Rahul. His injury from the first match in Hyderabad hasn’t fully he­aled yet.
