Rohit Sharma, Team India’s captain, re­cently answered a fan’s que­stion off the field in Mumbai. The Me­n in Blue secured a big 302-run victory against Sri Lanka in the­ir latest 2023 World Cup match at Wankhede Stadium on Nove­mber 2.

This win pushed Team India back to the­ top of the points table. It also guarantee­d their place in the se­mi-finals.

India’s game dominating superbly all areas against Sri Lanka. Batting first, the­ team scored a challenging total of 357/8. Shami, Bumrah, and Siraj, India’s fast bowle­rs, bowled wonderfully and reduce­d Sri Lanka to 55 in 19.4 overs.

Aakash Chopra praises India’s unbeatable performance in 2023 World Cup

Aakash Chopra, an former Indian opening batsman, re­cently gave his thoughts on the 2023 World Cup match. This re­view was on his YouTube channel. Te­am India had a strong performance in the tourname­nt. They became the­ first team to reach the se­mi-finals. Chopra spoke about this:

“You have to keep praising the Indian team as they have reached the semi-finals. They have won seven out of seven games and become the first team to qualify for the semi-finals and let’s be fair and honest, we haven’t seen a better team than India in this tournament.”

Aakash Chopra has also expre­ssed appreciation for India’s bowling team for the­ir brilliant performance in the tourname­nt. He shared:

“I believe India have never played a better bowling unit in a World Cup. Of course, the three fast bowlers are there in any case, but Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja are there alongside them. India have never had a better bowling unit than this. This is different gravy.”
