On Wednesday, March 13, a fan uploaded a video of Pant’s online session to the microblogging platform X (previously Twitter). In the video, the energetic hitter hits a flat six to midwicket.

Rishabh Pant was ruled out of the IPL 2023 and numerous key international assignments, including the 2023 ODI World Cup, after suffering serious injuries in a horrible automobile accident in December 2022.

Much to the pleasure of his supporters, Pant has been certified totally fit for the IPL 2024. Last year, Delhi had a disastrous season under David Warner, ending in last place in the rankings.

Rishabh Pant recently expressed his disappointment after being forced to miss several months of action due to injury. However, he stressed that he made an effort not to pity himself throughout the terrible period.

Pant opened up to the Times of India about his thinking process for returning:

“I was sad because I was going through a very good time. But I had to ensure I didn’t pity myself. That’s how I was keeping myself sane. I don’t want to think that I am taking a fresh guard or I am making my debut all over again or I just had a break. I just want to feel how it is to be on the ground again. I need that feeling from within that I am just continuing with my career.”
