Shikhar Dhawan has noted that the tracks laid out for ICC tournaments are of a much higher quality than those used for bilateral series. According to him, these pitches guarantee an even contest between batters and bowlers as the matches are played at neutral venues. The experienced opener has achieved remarkable success in major events, and although the tournament may change, his approach remains the same.

On “The Ranveer Show”, Dhawan stated:

“My record in ICC tournaments is quite good. There is no change in commitment level in such competitions. My process has always remained the same. I feel that the wickets are much better in ICC tournaments. They are played at neutral venues, and there are true wickets. Whereas in bilaterals, there are times when you don’t get true wickets.”

Shikhar Dhawan has proven to be a reliable player for India in ICC tournaments. His average of 61.15 in ICC ODI matches is impressive, as he has scored 1238 runs in just 20 innings.
