CSK has held on to captain MS Dhoni for IPL 2023 for a massive fee of 12 crore rupees. What’s even more impressive is that the taxes he pays are more than three times his IPL salary, which isn’t surprising considering that endorsements are a major source of his income.

MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings will next face off against Mumbai Indians in the 2023 IPL. The match will take place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday, April 8th. After scoring 12 off 3 deliveries and 14* off 7 deliveries against Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans, respectively, Dhoni will look to keep the crowd entertained. CSK lost their first game of the season against GT by five wickets but managed to bounce back and win the second game against LSG by 12 runs.

CSK has won the IPL four times and now looks to better their record against MI in the T20 tournament. They have only 14 victories out of 34 encounters with their rivals. This includes the thrilling three-wicket win in IPL 2022, where MS Dhoni’s heroics snatched a victory from a certain defeat. The CSK captain slammed 28*(13) and 16 off the final four balls against Jaydev Unadkat, helping his side over the line. Fans will be hoping for more of the same when these two sides meet again.

Mumbai Indians (MI) suffered a defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their opening IPL 2023 game, losing by a margin of 8 wickets. The five-time champions hope to get back on track and improve their impressive record against the Chennai-based franchise when they play again at home.
