Renowned cricketer MS Dhoni delighted fans as he cruised on a bike through his beloved Ranchi. His recent presence marked the final showdown of IPL 2024 pitting Chennai Super Kings (CSK) against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Regrettably it emerged as a night of disillusionment for him and the yellow brigade with RCB clinching a 27run victory abruptly ending their tournament journey.

MS Dhoni wasted no time returning to Ranchi immediately after CSKs untimely tournament exit. On a social media platform an X user thoughtfully shared a captivating video showcasing the beloved cricketer joyfully riding a bike across the picturesque streets of Ranchi.

MS Dhoni truly excelled in the finishers position for CSK this season accumulating 161 runs across 14 games at a remarkable strike rate of 220.55. His outstanding display featured 13 sixes and 14 fours showcasing his prowess on the field.

Matthew Hayden, a former Australian and CSK hitter, says that MS Dhoni’s IPL career is over. Speaking to Star Sports during the Cricket Live broadcast, Hayden speculated on Dhoni’s future in the IPL, stating that the former CSK captain may join the support staff in an official position starting next season.
Hayden says:
“I think this is it. I do believe that this will be the last time that MS Dhoni will play. Certainly, won’t be the last time that we see Dhoni. I’d be very surprised if he doesn’t mentor or be a part of the family of CSK in an official capacity. I suppose the thing is when you come to the end of your career, whether it is the last part of his career or not, what you don’t want to see is diminishing returns as an athlete.”

“This is telling me that nothing here is about becoming anything else other than first place. He’s desperately using his brains, all of that cricket knowledge. And of course, the power is there and that’s always been MS Dhoni. He’s always hit balls at this stage of an innings. At the front, you can understand how players can hit it. But at the back, it’s really hard to hit balls.”
