Milind Kumar made a wonderful catch to dismiss Iftikhar Ahmed in the T20 World Cup Super Over, as the USA defeated Pakistan by six runs on Thursday (June 6) at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Texas. Milind Kumar magnificent catch reduced the equation to 14 off three in the Super Over, when Iftikhar went for four with his team pursuing 19 to win.
The event occurred off the third ball when Saurabh Netravalkar bowled a low full toss from off-stump. Milind Kumar, observing from the field, watched as Iftikhar Ahmed aimed for a mighty swing over long-off. The right-hander, however, failed to make solid contact with the ball, and it was Milind Kumar who sprang into action from the boundary. With a remarkable display of agility, Milind Kumar made a spectacular diving catch. The TV umpires meticulously reviewed the play from multiple angles, and after careful consideration, they confirmed the dismissal, declaring it out.

With the victory, the co-hosts USA made it back-to-back wins in the T20 World Cup, having defeated Canada by seven wickets in their first game.
USA Captain Monank Patel Hails Victory Over Pakistan as ‘Big Achievement’ in T20 World Cup
USA captain Monank Patel was overjoyed after his team defeated Pakistan in the T20 World Cup. The wicketkeeper-batsman was as pleased to contribute with the bat to the historic victory, adding in the post-match show:
Pakistan opted to bat first posting a total of 1597 in their 20 overs. Leading the charge was Captain Babar Azam delivering an impressive 44 runs off 43 balls including two sixes and three boundaries. Meanwhile Shadab Khan went on a hitting spree tallying 40 runs off 25 deliveries with three sixes and a boundary in his arsenal. Shaheen Afridi and Iftikhar Ahmed also made valuable contributions scoring 23 not out (from 16 balls) and 18 runs (from 14 balls) respectively.
In an outstanding display Nosthush Kenjige excelled as the highest wickettaker for the USA securing three key dismissals while Saurabh Netravalkar closely followed with two. Ali Khan and Jasdeep Singh also made notable contributions each claiming one wicket.
In response, the USA scored 159-3, forcing a Super Over. Captain Monank Patel excelled with the bat, smashing 50 off 38 balls, including six and seven boundaries. Andries Gous contributed 35 off 26, while Aaron Jones and Nitish Kumar continued their unbeaten streaks with 36 (26) and 14 runs per ball, respectively. Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, and Mohammad Amir each claimed one wicket.
