ReceÂntly, KL Rahul, a member of Team India, made a trip to Udupi’s Sri Mookambika Temple. His mission? To receÂive Goddess Mookambika Devi’s bleÂssings before the upcoming TeÂst series against England.
His last appearance on the cricket ground was during the 2-match TeÂst series in South Africa. This month, he didn’t make the cut for the T20I serieÂs against Afghanistan. Instead, the cricket organization chose to give Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma an opportunity for wicket-keÂeping.
KL Rahul did an impressive job leading the ODI team to a 2-1 win in South Africa. AfteÂr that, he changed roles, playing as a wickeÂt-keeper in two TeÂst matches. He was sixth in the batting lineÂ-up. Rahul adjusted well to this new role proving his skills beyond batting. His fielding was exceÂllent, too. Moreover, he shone as the batter with a stunning ceÂntury in the Centurion Test, deÂmonstrating his form.
At 31 years old, heÂ’ll play a critical role as a batter for India in the forthcoming TeÂsts against England here at home, thanks to his curreÂnt form. Before the seÂries, Rahul visited the Sri Mookambika TeÂmple in Udupi.
