Kane Williamson has expressed his appreciation for the fans’ show of love and support in a recent video posted by the franchise. Unfortunately, his IPL 2023 campaign ended abruptly after he sustained an injury during the opening match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Despite the setback, Williamson made his Titans debut on March 31 with enthusiasm and hope. Sadly, he injured his right leg while fielding near the boundary, leaving him unable to continue his participation in the IPL this year. The GT star expresses his gratitude for his supporters as his journey in IPL 2023 draws to a premature close.
Before departing India, Kane Williamson sent a special video message to his fans shared by GT. He said:
“I just want to wish the Gujarat Titans team all the best for the remainder of the season. I wish I could have been there with you all but not to be and I also want to thank the fans for their love and support. I look forward to a speedy recovery.”
