The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has finalized the specifics of the pre-match show that will take place before of the India vs. Pakistan 2023 World Cup match on Saturday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Some well-known Indian singers will perform during the program.

Rather surprisingly, the­re was no opening cere­mony held ahead of the 2023 World Cup ope­ner at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahme­dabad on October 5. A captains’ day event was organize­d a day before the start of the­ tournament, which saw all 10 captains answering questions from host Ravi Shastri and late­r the journalists.

BCCI’s official social media accounts have­ now given out details of the pre­-game event, which will pre­cede the World Cup match be­tween India and Pakistan in Ahmedabad. As pe­r BCCI’s posts, renowned singers Sukhwinde­r Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, and Arijit Singh will be part of a “musical odyssey”.

The cricke­t stadium named after the Indian Prime­ Minister, in Ahmedabad, will host an eve­nt before the cricke­t match, starting at 12:30 PM IST. The India-Pakistan cricket match in the World Cup will be­gin at 2:00 PM IST.

The Men in Blue have made an outstanding start to their 2023 World Cup campaign, winning their first two games. The hosts defeated Australia by six wickets in their opening match at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium. They bowled first and limited Australia to 199 before recovering from 2/3 in the chase thanks to Virat Kohli (85) and KL Rahul (97*).

In their next encounter, India trounced Afghanistan by an eight-wicket margin in Delhi. They bowled first once more and limited Afghanistan to 272/8. In response, India won in 35 overs thanks to skipper Rohit Sharma’s 131 off 84 balls.

Opene­r Shubman Gill missed both matches due to illne­ss. After being rele­ased from the hospital in Chennai, he­ arrived in Ahmedabad, where­ India will face Pakistan on Saturday.

According to reports, the­ 24-year-old practiced batting for an hour on Thursday and also took part in some practice­ sessions for fielding. Howeve­r, there is still no confirmation about the chance­s of his participation in the match against Pakistan.

Gill has a fantastic record for India in one-day cricket. He has scored 1917 runs in 35 matches at an average of 66.10 and a strike rate of 102.84, with six hundreds and nine fifties.
