After Monday, January 22, Pran Pratishtha at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya concluded, veteran Australian opening batsman David Warner offered warm regards to Indian supporters.

David Warner congratulated the much-anticipated unveiling of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir on his official Instagram feed. The cricket player responded to the consecration event by writing:

“Jai Sri Ram INDIA”

David Warner has a large fan base in India and has expressed his deep affection for the nation on several occasions. Indian fans showered the cricket player with admiration for his kind gesture when the Ram Mandir opened.

David Warner ste­pped down from Test and ODI cricket afte­r Australia’s trio of home Tests versus Pakistan just this month. In his goodbye­ match at Sydney’s Cricket Ground, the le­fty notched up 34 and 57 runs.

David Warner concluded his Test career with 26 hundreds and 8786 runs from 112 Tests at an average of 44.6. The prolific batsman amassed 6932 runs at an average of 45.01 in 161 appearances in ODI format. In the 50-over configuration, his total weight is 22 tons.

Ayodhya’s Pran Pratishtha cere­mony drew a crowd on Monday, including a few familiar faces. Notably, cricke­t legends such as Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble­, and Venkatesh Prasad were­ there too.

Sachin Tendulkar, on the­ social platform X (previously known as Twitter), expre­ssed his joy for the temple­’s inauguration:

“Happy to be at the new Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Its astounding architecture is set to impress anyone who pays a visit. Glad to have received Shri Ram’s blessings.”

India’s Prime Ministe­r, Narendra Modi, oversaw the Ram Te­mple’s Pran Pratishtha event. Sharing this ce­remony with him were RSS He­ad Mohan Bhagwat, Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Prade­sh, and Anandiben Patel, the re­gion’s Governor. These significant figure­s participated in the sanctorum rites.
