Axar Patel made the incredible catch by jumping to perfection while falling in the process. He snatched it out of thin air on the boundary during Kuldeep Yadav’s ninth over. Even though he is a southpaw, the all-rounder grabbed it with his right hand.

Axar Patel claimed the­ prestigious best fielde­rs medal by outperforming Indias captain Rohit Sharma alongside Suryakumar Yadav and Kulde­ep Yadav. The accolade was be­stowed upon Axar by Nuwan Seneviratne­ the estee­med training assistant and throwdown specialist for Team India.

India set to play against England in repeat of 2022 T20 World Cup semifinal

India will next face England in a rematch of the 2022 T20 World Cup semifinal. The match will take place on June 27 at Providence Stadium in Guyana. The Men in Blue will be looking to revenge their 10-wicket setback against the defending winners in the last edition of the ICC event.

In the post-match show, Rohit Sharma stated that India will maintain their aggressive approach against England in their future match:

“We don’t want to do anything different, play the same way and understand what each person has to do. Play freely and not think too much on what’s lying ahead. Not think about the opposition. We have been doing it consistently, just need to continue. It will be a nice match, nothing changes for us as a team.”
