Axar Patel made the incredible catch by jumping to perfection while falling in the process. He snatched it out of thin air on the boundary during Kuldeep Yadav’s ninth over. Even though he is a southpaw, the all-rounder grabbed it with his right hand.
Axar Patel claimed the prestigious best fielders medal by outperforming Indias captain Rohit Sharma alongside Suryakumar Yadav and Kuldeep Yadav. The accolade was bestowed upon Axar by Nuwan Seneviratne the esteemed training assistant and throwdown specialist for Team India.
