AB De Villiers gave his former teammates and fans a heartfelt note after being inducted to the RCB Hall of Fame on March 26. 

A Memorable moment for AB De Villiers and Chris Gayle at the M Chinnaswamy stadium where RCB, their former team, inducted them into the Hall of Fame in front of thousands of Ardent Fans and also honoured their contribution to the team. RCB also retired their jersey to honor their contributions.

AB De Villiers has astonishingly played 156 matches for the RCB, and in those matches, he scored 5162 runs, has had an average of 41.20 and a strike rate of 158.64, also 37 half-centuries and two centuries.

After playing so long for the RCB, it finally ended in 2021 when he decided to retire from all forms of cricket. At the RCB Unbox event, he finally reunited with his former teammates. 

De Villiers showed his emotions through his Instagram handle, expressing gratitude to his fans and teammate for all the love and support they showered on him through all these years.

He was filled with many emotions after being inducted. He also thought about his memorable moments with his former teammates and concluded by thanking everyone for the love they’ve showered on him.
