Virat Kohli continues to be one of the most celebrated cricketers in the world. His renowned batting performances for India and the Royal Challengers Bangalore have earned him immense respect. Off the field, Virat is admired for the unique lifestyle that sets him apart from other cricketers.

Brands flock to Kohli for his star power, with the Indian cricketer easily worth more than ₹1 crore per post on Instagram. Reports have surfaced online detailing the lucrative deals he receives for brand endorsements, making him one of the most sought-after athletes in the world.

Fans have been wondering if Virat Kohli is the wealthiest cricketer in the world. However, CEOWORLD Magazine recently published a list of the world’s richest cricketers, and surprisingly, Kohli was not at the top.

Topping the list with an estimated net worth of $170 million is Sachin Tendulkar. Next in line is the former Indian captain MS Dhoni with a total of $115 million in net worth. Virat Kohli comes third, having accumulated a net worth of $112 million behind Dhoni.

Virat Kohli is ranked highest in net worth among the active cricketers

Virat Kohli may not be the wealthiest cricketer of all time, but his current net worth of $112 million (approx. ₹927.236 crores) makes him the wealthiest active player in the international cricketing scene. Steve Smith, the current Australian Test Vice-Captain, places second on the list, with an estimated total net worth of $30 million.

Despite their big deals and multiple endorsements, it is astonishing that Indian captain Rohit Sharma, all-rounder Hardik Pandya, and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah did not make it into the top 10 of the world’s richest cricketers.
