For over ten years now, Mumbai Indian’s (MI) veteran opener has built a formidable reputation as one of the most attacking players in the contemporary age till date. While batting, ‘hitman’ has brilliant ball hitting capacity, and he demonstrated this characteristic during net practice in what looked like Ekana Stadium, Lucknow.

Rohit Sharma came to Instagram to share a video of himself practicing huge shots. It had everything, from the cover drive to his signature pull shots. The video concluded with Rohit dancing down the track and pulling the bones off of a delivery straight down the ground.

Rohit had an average T20 World Cup in 2022. He will want to show he is better than that. Rohit will try hard to help his team win the T20 World Cup. His team almost won the ODI World Cup last year.

Rohit started IPL 2024 off brilliantly, scoring 297 runs in his first seven games. However, his form has deteriorated thereafter, with only 29 runs scored in four innings. He’s also been dealing with scheduling, which is a greater concern for India.

The Men in Blue will hope that their captain hits some form in the rest of the IPL 2024 and flies out of the blocks in the T20 World Cup.
