Mumbai Indians (MI) opener Rohit Sharma was dismissed by Rajasthan Royals (RR) bowler Trent Boult for the second time in the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL). He was dismissed for six runs off five deliveries in the current match at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Monday, April 22.
The Kiwi left-arm seamer dismissed Rohit for a golden duck in the reverse encounter at the Wankhede Stadium. This time, the right-handed hitter was off to a terrific start, with a first ball flip and an edgy second ball boundary.
Rohit Sharma faced a couple dot balls. He then tried a wild expansive shot, clearing his front leg. But the connection went wrong. The ball soared up in the air. It took forever before descending. By then, Sanju Samson had positioned himself. He comfortably caught the ball, giving RR their first breakthrough.
