MS Dhoni, the former Indian captain, was recently photographed spoiling his beloved horses.

Since the completion of the IPL 2023 in May, the legendary cricketer has been enjoying life off the field by spending valuable time with family and friends. He has not been seen playing cricket since.

He played the whole IPL season this year despite a knee injury that limited his movement. MS Dhoni handled it brilliantly and wisely guided CSK to victory in the IPL for the sixth time.

After that, he traveled over India and the world to renew himself. To the delight of Dhoni’s fervent admirers, CSK have retained him for the upcoming season, ensuring his participation in IPL 2024.

A fan shared the newest image of MS Dhoni on X (previously known as Twitter), in which he can be seen loving and feeding his beloved horses.

Team India opener Ruturaj Gaikwad recently said that his IPL team captain, MS Dhoni, taught him a lot about game awareness. Ruturaj is presently representing India in a T20I series against Australia.

He has been in good form and scored his first international century in the third T20I. Gaikwad started carefully in that match, getting 22 runs in the first 22 balls before going insane and smashing a 52-ball century.

Ruturaj Gaiwad told Jio Cinema about how he created his mental approach to bat based on the situation:

“I would say I learned being in CSK because, you know, Mahi bhai (MS Dhoni) is always keen on reading situations, you know, understanding the game, how the game will progress. And he more or less sends a message where you have to look for a team score.”

Ruturaj added:

“You know what the team requires at that certain stage, irrespective of where you are batting, Either you are batting on 15 or not out or you just started, what the team requires just in particular that over. So I think that has stayed with me. And I’m trying to continue that.”
