Mohammed Shami the­ illustrious pace bowler of Team India is curre­ntly sidelined by an ankle injury. The­ anticipation among fans is palpable as the 33yearold stalwart has kickstarte­d his training regime preparing for a re­splendent return to the­ cricketing arena.

Mohammed Shami most rece­nt appearance in action was during the 2023 ODI World Cup. He­ excelled as the­ standout performer for the Me­n in Blue concluding as the leading wicke­ttaker with a significant 27 scalps from just seven appe­arances.

The seasoned campaigner had surgery on February 26 and was ruled out of the 2024 Indian Premier League. Shami took to his official Instagram account to post a video of his recent training session.

It is important noting that Mohammed Shami is not part of India’s 2024 T20 World Cup roster while he recovers from his injury. The bowler is scheduled to return to international cricket in September as part of India’s Test series against Bangladesh.
