Karn Sharma, a leggie for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), made a fantastic sprinting catch to help his team win Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2024 match on Sunday at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The catch taken by Karn Sharma for RCB ended the crucial half-century partnership between Shai Hope and Axar Patel.
The dismissal came in the tenth over, bowled by right-arm bowler Lockie Ferguson. The West Indies ODI captain attempted to hit the full-toss outside off over the leg side, but mistimed it. Karn Sharma dashed in and avoided a collision with Mahipal Lomror to make a spectacular catch.

RCB Clinches Fifth Straight Win in IPL 2024 by 47 Runs
Despite an apparently poor first-innings score of 187-9, the Royal Challengers won comfortably. The primary contributors with the bat were Will Jacks, Rajat Patidar, and Cameron Green. Khaleel Ahmed and Rasikh Dar each took two wickets for the Capitals. During Jacks and Patidar’s connection, Delhi also dropped several catches.
In response, the visiting team was unable to recover from its top-order slump. Despite stand-in skipper Axar Patel’s half-century, the Capitals fell 47 runs short of their goal, being bowled out for 140 in 19.1 overs. Yash Dayal was the standout of the bowlers for RCB, with statistics of 3.1-0-20-3, while Lockie Ferguson caught a pair.
Swapnil Singh, Mohammed Siraj, and Cameron Green each took one wicket as the Royal Challengers stayed in contention to make the playoffs. The Capitals, who were missing Rishabh Pant for this game, have a difficult route to the tournament playoffs this year.
