India’s Cricket Board (BCCI) released a video. In it, Team India prepares for their three-T20I series against Afghanistan. The series starts on Thursday, January 11, amid Mohali’s chilly weather.
Playing in Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, the temperature is near 13 degrees Celsius. The Indian players shared a vox pop video, describing the difficulties. Axar Patel, Rinku Singh, Tilak Verma, and head coach Rahul Dravid were among those who remarked on the unusual chill.
Arshdeep Singh and Shubman Gill, two local youngsters, made light of the fact that they didn’t feel cold at all, while Washington Sundar, a man from Chennai, mockingly declared he was ‘habitual’ to it. The stadium was shrouded in thick fog when pacer Avesh Khan said that the only thing above him was dhuan (smoke) rather than aasman (sky).
