The coin went up high in the air during the toss ceremony before the Mumbai Indians versus Kolkata Knight Riders IPL 2024 match. Hardik Pandya, the Mumbai captain, tossed the coin a bit too hard. He even took a few steps back while the coin was up in the air.

The match referee then lifted the coin before the cameraman could focus on it and show it to the crowd watching the live feed.
