Virat Kohli Believes There’s Room for Improvement to Reach His Best
Virat Kohli has returned from a rough patch and regained his form after a mental break. He ended his century drought in all three formats, scoring a century in the Ahmedabad Test against Australia. In a recent video on RCB’s Twitter, Kohli discussed his aspirations and objectives for IPL 2023. He said;
“I am just back to playing the way I do. There’s still a lot of room to get to my best, which hopefully happens in the IPL if I can get to the level I want to play at and help the team, and it will be exciting.”
Reflecting on his break, Kohli shared that it allowed him to reconnect with his love for the game after feeling mentally exhausted following a poor tour of England. As the leading run-scorer in IPL history, Kohli is looking forward to IPL 2023, where he aims to continue his impressive track record. With 6624 runs in 223 T20 matches, Kohli has achieved an average of 36.20 and a strike rate of 129.15, including five centuries and 44 half-centuries.
