Recently, a Virat Kohli video made waves online. It showed his response to India’s 2023 ODI World Cup final loss to Australia. This defeat left Indian cricket enthusiasts feeling devastated. The Indian team displayed exceptional skill during the competition, yet couldn’t clinch the final victory.
Virat Kohli’s batting talent shone brightly in the tournament, scoring 765 runs with an impressive average of 95.62. He even scored three centuries and six half-centuries. Notably, he broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record for the most runs (673) in a single ODI World Cup edition, making international cricket history.
Unfortunately, his top Player of the Tournament performance didn’t help India secure the final win. The Indian team set a score of 240 in their 50 overs in the beginning. Australia’s victory was powered by Travis Head’s bold batting, achieving their goal (241) saving six players and seven overs.
The Indian players were disheartened as Australia scored the winning runs. With disappointment, Virat Kohli was observed taking off his cap and pushing aside the bails. A video of the player’s response at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad following the final was just posted on Instagram by a fan.

Badrinath stated in a video posted on his YouTube account that he would want to see Virat Kohli return to the Test captaincy.
