Indian cricket sensation Virat Kohli could miss the Men in Blues solitary T20 World Cup 2024 warmup showdown against Bangladesh on June 1. Per reports from The Indian Express Kohli has been granted a short breather following the culmination of the IPL 2024 season.
Virat Kohli’s exceptional prowess was on full display during the IPL season where he showcased a stellar performance with the bat accumulating a remarkable 741 runs at an impressive average of 61.75 and a striking strike rate of 154.69. His invaluable contributions propelled Royal Challengers Bengaluru into the playoffs after a thrilling sixmatch winning streak. Regrettably their playoff journey came to an end with a loss to the Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator round.
According to reports, a BCCI insider informed the aforementioned organization that Virat Kohli would go to the T20 World Cup on May 30.
Apart from Virat Kohli, the BCCI has given Sanju Samson and Hardik Pandya a rest and they were not among the first players to leave for the T20 World Cup on Saturday, May 25.

The BCCI enthusiastically shared images on its social media account this Saturday unveiling snapshots of some of Indias squad and the support staff as they embarked on their journey to the Caribbean and the USA for the T20 World Cup.
The ensemble consisted of notable figures such as captain Rohit Sharma, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja and Shivam Dube.
