Virat Kohli thanked the crowd after the Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated the Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2023 last night (May 1) at the Bharat Ratna Shree Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium.
Kohli got 31 runs off 30 balls in his first IPL encounter Thursday night in Lucknow. He won the honour for hitting the most fours in a low-scoring match. Kohli smashed three fours and had a 62-run partnership with captain Faf du Plessis.
Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 126/9 in 20 overs and bowled out the Lucknow Super Giants for 108 runs to win by 18 runs. Last night, fans in Lucknow shouted for RCB at the Bharat Ratna Shree Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium.
