As of my writing, India had 57 runs for 2 outs in their pursuit of 79 total runs in 8.3 overs, both stars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were batting. The opposing team made two critical moves: Nandre Burger got Yashasvi Jaiswal out, and Kagiso Rabada ousted Shubman Gill, who had just made 10 runs.
India knocked South Africa out for 55 in the first innings after being asked to bowl. With the ball, Mohammed Siraj shone, coming back with career-best stats of 6/15. Mukesh Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah each took two wickets.
South Africa swiftly knocked India down for 153, following a breakdown of their middle-order. Their last six batters fell while pushing no further runs to the total.
