Virat Kohli, the famous cricket player, left from Mumbai to Indore. Why? For the next India vs Afghanistan T20I game. It will happen at the Holkar Cricket Stadium on January 14. He couldn’t play in the first game due to personal things.
Someone posted a video on X. It showed Virat Kohli at the airport, ready to fly to Indore. Check it out:

Virat Kohli didn’t play T20I since the 2022 T20 World Cup. But, he was the top scorer there. The 35-year-old holds a record for T20Is. He scored more runs than anyone, 4,008 in 107 innings. And yes, that’s with one century and 37 half-centuries.
Recently, the ex-captain of India showed his skills in a two-game Test series. He scored the most runs for India, hitting 172 runs in four innings.
Suresh Raina: Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are vital for India’s T20 World Cup hopes

Suresh Raina, previous India cricket player, believes the decision for Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, the normal leaders, to play in T20Is before the 2024 T20 World Cup is sound. He voiced this on Jio Cinema recently:
“If you look at the World Cup venues (in the USA and the West Indies), the wickets will be a bit tricky. India will need the experience of Rohit and Kohli there. Kohli is about to make 12,000 runs in T20 cricket. So, their presence will boost India’s batting.”

Suresh Raina continued:
“I think Kohli should bat at No. 3. His experience will bring in some solidity, especially in the challenging pitches in the US and the Caribbean. There are fearless young cricketers like Jaiswal, Rinku Singh, or Shubman Gill but Rohit and Kohli will give the unit a lot of solidity. Their presence is very important when we chase a target, especially in a high-pressure event like the World Cup.”

Rohit, like Virat Kohli, has made the most-run list in T20Is. He has scored 3,853 runs from 141 innings. This includes four centuries and twenty-nine half-centuries.
The current score in the three-match T20I series between India and Afghanistan is 1-0, India’s favor. The first victory was claimed by the Men in Blue. A key player in the win, Shivam Dube achieved an unbeaten 60 from 40 balls. His performance included impressive two-over figures of 1/9.
