During the second Test of the ongoing four-match India vs Australia Border-Gavaskar Trophy in New Delhi, the Delhite himself, Virat Kohli, was seen urging the crowd to shout India chants instead of chanting IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
The former India captain Virat Kohli was a the slips when he heard the crowd at the Delhi stadium chant ‘RCB, RCB’. Virat quickly pointed toward his jersey, urging them to cheer for India. Soon after his this gesture, the chants of the crowd changed from ‘RCB, RCB’ to ‘India-India’ on Day three of the Test match. Virat Kohli has always been a favourite of cricket fans worldwide, and in India, he is considered one of the greatest cricketer ever. Not only does he interacts the crowd with the bat in his hand, but his gestures on the field also provide constant entertainment.

Meanwhile, Kohli also made crucial contributions with the bat in the Delhi Test against Australia, scoring 44 and 20. India won the 2nd test match by six wickets and has taken a 2-0 lead in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 for a record fourth consecutive time. Despite the IPL 2023 fever starting to grip the fans after the schedule has been announced recently, the focus remains on the India-Australia Test series. During the game, Kohli added another feather to his cap as he became the 6th and the fastest cricketer in the world to score 25,000 runs across all formats.
The team will soon be travelling to Indore, where they will play the 3rd Test at the Holkar stadium, but prior to that, there will be a break of more than a week for the players to revitalise themselves for the remainder of the series.
