Call it a 2011 Cup-winners get-together; both Kohli and Raina were in the victorious MS Dhoni team. Raina was broadcasting at Lucknow’s Ekana Cricket Stadium, his hometown. At the same time, Kohli participated in the weekend match.
Once the initial innings in the match versus England concluded, several Indian players entered the field. They warmed up and prepared during the halftime break. At one point, Suresh Raina and Virat Kohli intersected. They warmly hugged each other.

Virat Kohli Fails to Fire Against England in ODI World Cup
Virat Kohli has been in ominous form in the 2023 World Cup, scoring several match-winning runs and bailing his team out of tough positions on many occasions.
He has 354 runs from five games in the 2023 World Cup going into the match against England.
However, the law of averages caught up with him, as he was unable to add to his total on Sunday. He was called out for a 9-ball duck, his first ever in World Cup play.
His failure had no negative impact on India’s chances in the match. In his absence, Rohit Sharma batted brilliantly, scoring 87 on a challenging wicket to help India post a solid score.
Next, the bowlers pulled off an impressive play, leaving England with only 129. India quickly secured a win with a 100-run lead and claimed the top spot on the points table.
Virat Kohli plans to return on Thursday (November 2), for India’s game against Sri Lanka in Mumbai.
