The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) influence was seen on Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma on November 9 as authorities brought the pair inside the team hotel. The duo is in Bengaluru for India’s last league game against the Netherlands on November 12 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

For those who are unaware, Virat and Anushka are always warmly welcomed in Bengaluru because Kohli has been a part of the RCB (as captain and as a player) since the team’s founding (2008) season.

Meanwhile, Kohli has been the topic of the 2023 World Cup by tying the great Sachin Tendulkar for the most hundreds.

On Sunday, the right-handed hitter smashed an undefeated 101 runs off 121 balls against South Africa. The Men in Blue won the game by 243 runs, extending their unbeaten record to eight games.

Tendulkar was the first to congratulate Kohli on his exceptional achievement. On X, he post:

Kohli was overjoyed when he heard his childhood hero’s wish on the unique album. In the post-match press conference, he responded:

“It is all too much for me to take in now. To equal my hero’s record is something special for me. He is perfection when it comes to batting. It’s a very emotional moment for me. I know where I come from. I know the days I have watched him on TV. Just to get that appreciation from him means a lot to me.”

In the current 2023 World Cup, Virat Kohli has been in spectacular form. The No. 3 batsman has 543 runs at an average of 108.60 in eight matches, including two tons and four half-centuries.

Kohli will now attempt to reach his 50th ODI century at Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium, where he has four tons for RCB in the Indian Premier League.
