Virat Kohli beat Sachin Tendulkar’s record for most ODI hundreds by a batsman (50) earlier today (November 15) during India’s 2023 World Cup quarterfinal against New Zealand. His wife Anushka Sharma showered kisses at him as he celebrated his century at the Wankhede Stadium.
Soon after, a video of Virat Kohli and Anushka blowing kisses at each other appeared on the internet prior to the start of the match. The video was published by a prominent X user on the social networking site, and he characterized it as a ‘wonderful moment’ between the husband and wife.

In addition to smashing Sachin’s record for most ODI hundreds, Virat Kohli also set a new mark for the most runs a cricket player has scored in a single World Cup. Sachin had 673 runs in India’s 2003 World Cup campaign, but Kohli passed him during his knock at the Wankhede Stadium and currently has 711 runs in this year’s World Cup.
Virat Kohli score 117 runs in IND vs NZ 2023 World Cup Semi-Final
After reaching the three-figure mark, Kohli changed gears and attempted to score runs rapidly for Team India. He sped to 117, but as he tried to make a huge shot off Tim Southee’s bowling on the final delivery of the 44th over, the ball went directly in the hands of Devon Conway, who was fielding in the deep.
After 47.1 overs, India is at 360/2. Shreyas Iyer is on the verge of scoring his second century in a row in the 2023 World Cup. Following Kohli’s dismissal, KL Rahul has joined him in the middle. It would be intriguing to see if the pair can help India reach 400 runs.
