Tushar Deshpande gave Chennai Super Kings (CSK) a strong start with the ball against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match on Sunday at Chepauk.
The speedster defeated Travis Head (13 off 7) before dismissing Anmolpreet Singh (golden duck) and the in-form Abhishek Sharma (15 off 9).
The Super Kings took three fast wickets to reduce the visitors to 40/3 in 3.5 overs.
Tushar Deshpande rejected Travis Head with a slower outside off. The left-hander got to one knee for a massive shot, but wound up passing it to Daryl Mitchell at deep point.
The bowleÂr then threw a ball that moved away from AnmolpreÂet. Anmolpreet shut the bat too soon. The ball hit the edge of the bat. The ball went to MoeÂen Ali near extra coveÂr. So Tushar Deshpande got two batters out in the second over for SRH.
Tushar Deshpande’s second over enticed Abhishek into a huge shot with a slower delivery outside off stump. The left-hander was removed identically to Head, towards deep point, as Mitchell made another excellent grab close the boundary rope.
