On Saturday (April 27), Delhi Capitals middle-order batsman Tristan Stubbs put Mumbai Indians seamer Luke Wood to the cleaners in an IPL 2024 match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The South African right-handed batter blasted the left-arm seamer for 26 in one over, including five boundaries and some astonishing strokes.
The hammering began in the 18th over, with Stubbs hitting two boundaries with scoop smashes over the fine leg region. The third ball was a reverse scoop, and it soared for six. The right-hander performed another reverse scoop and sent it narrowly past Jasprit Bumrah for another boundary.
The final two deliveries also went for boundaries, with the 23-year-old playing strong pull shots.
