Suryakumar Yadav has effectively slapped down a social media fan who urged him to come out to bat rather than eat in the dugout at the current 2023 World Cup. Instead of him, the 33-year-old batsman requested that he place orders on meal delivery services like Swiggy.
During the Men in Blue’s run chase during the India-Australia game, Yadav can be seen enjoying food in the dugout, according to video that an X (previously known as Twitter) user provided. Even though Yadav wasn’t even in the starting XI, the response still occurred. A user posted:

Suryakumar Yadav’s World Cup Status: Will He Play Against Bangladesh?
For the first three games of the 2023 World Cup, Suryakumar Yadav served as a bench warmer as Team India accomplished a hat-trick of victories in the 50-over competition.
To increase their chances of making it to the semifinals, the Men in Blue are probably going to start the same lineup against Bangladesh. Yadav is therefore unlikely to play in the forthcoming game.
In his final game against Bangladesh, which India lost by six runs in the 2023 Asia Cup, the middle-order hitter scored 26 off 34. On November 12, he may play against the Netherlands.
Yadav, meanwhile, has been performing exceptionally. The right-handed player achieved two half-centuries against Australia in the recent ODI series. He amassed 130 runs in three innings at an average of 65.
Overall, the Mumbai batter has scored 667 runs in 28 ODI innings with an average of 27.79, with four half-centuries.
As far as the World Cup is concerned, India and Bangladesh will compete at the MCA Stadium in Pune on October 19.
