Suryakumar Yadav of India sprinted to collect a well-judged catch to dismiss Bangladesh’s opener Litton Das in the T20 World Cup encounter in Antigua on Saturday (June 22). Suryakumar’s catch marked the Men in Blue’s first breakthrough. Das was dismissed for 13 runs off ten balls, including one four and a six.
The dismissal occurred in the fifth over of Bangladesh’s run chase. Hardik Pandya bowled a length ball outside off, and Das could only chip it to Suryakumar Yadav at square leg. Despite the high wind, the latter performed admirably by coming in from the ropes and then diving forward to finish the grab. Das smacked Hardik Pandya for a six at deep midwicket, and the wicket came off the next ball.
