India’s talented T20 player, Suryakumar Yadav, has kicked off his return journey. He just resumed batting practice in the net. His sidelining came due to an ankle injury. This injury happened in the course of fieldwork during last month’s third T20I match against South Africa held in Johannesburg. Back then, he quickly exited the field and did not make a re-entry that day.
The BCCI’s medical crew decided he couldn’t play for the next 7-8 weeks. This situation kept him out of the current matches with Afghanistan. It’s floating around that he has a sports hernia and may need an operation. He’s set to rejoin the team by IPL 2024, by all signs.
In order to offer followers a peek into his batting practise while recovering, Surya posted videos on his story on Instagram.
