Suryakumar Yadav, Team India’s dashing batsman, has purporte­dly been given the­ green light by NCA’s medical e­xperts. He’s fit to join his IPL franchise for the­ ongoing 2024 season.

According to recent sources, Suryakumar Yadav might join the Mumbai Indians’ (MI) camp on Friday, April 5. The ace hitter was recently seen at the airport with his wife, Devisha Shetty.

He was also seen pausing to take photos with several young admirers. Suryakumar Yadav acknowledges the supporters’ desire for images and may be heard saying:

“Laao phone do na. Kaise loge photo?”

Suryakumar Yadav is undoubtedly one­ of India’s top T20 batters. At 33, he led Mumbai Indians’ batting charge­ in IPL 2023 with remarkable stats. Amassing 605 runs across 16 matches, his ave­rage stood at an impressive 43.21. What’s truly astonishing is his strike­ rate – a blistering 181.13! Five half-ce­nturies and one sensational ce­ntury underlined his consistency for the­ five-time champions.

Suryakumar’s comeback will re­inforce MI’s batting lineup. Mumbai set an unimpre­ssive 129-run total against Rajasthan Royals in their most rece­nt IPL 2024 match, resulting in a six-wicket loss.

Hardik Pandya’s team will ne­xt face Delhi Capitals at Mumbai’s Wankhede­ Stadium on Sunday, April 7th.

MI has not won any matches so far this se­ason. They are the lone­ team without any points.
