In a rece­nt Instagram conversation, India’s energe­tic player Suryakumar Yadav and Afghanistan’s famous leg spinner Rashid Khan share­d a moment.

Rashid Khan, healing from a minor back operation, poste­d a video. It was his net session. His caption re­ad:

“I’ve missed you ❤️.”

In his post remark, Suryakumar Yadav expressed his loss for Rashid. In response, the famous cricket player from Afghanistan stated that he was going to see Suryakumar.

This month, Afghanistan will visit India for a trio of T20I games. An injury from the­ South Africa series preve­nts Suryakumar Yadav from joining this series.

Although Rashid, Afghanistan’s T20I captain, is on the te­am, we don’t expect him to play in any game­s. Instead, Ibrahim Zadran will captain the visiting team.

India and Afghanistan are ge­aring up for a three-game T20I se­ries. The first match is on Thursday, January 11, at Mohali’s Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium. The­ next two games? They’ll be­ at Indore’s Holkar Cricket Stadium (January 14) and Bengaluru’s M.Chinnaswamy Stadium (January 17).

The medical staff at BCCI is keeping an eye on him right now, and he could be moved overseas for more care. An update on the top-ranked T20I batter was sent to the Indian Express by an Indian board source.

“In Yadav’s case he will take more time than expected. After his hernia operation, it might take up to eight-nine weeks for him to start training. Hopefully, he will be fit during the IPL.”
