Narine scored 81 runs in 39 balls. His strike rate was 207.69. He hit seven sixes and six fours. Narine made 61 runs with Phil Salt for the first wicket. Then he scored 79 runs with Angkrish Raghuvanshi for the second wicket. Finally, Devdutt Padikkal caught Narine off Ravi Bishnoi’s bowling at long-off.
Narine is doing great this season. He’s hit 452 runs in 11 matches. That includes one century and three half-centuries. Only Virat Kohli and Ruturaj Gaikwad have scored more runs than him.
The spinner has also taken 13 wickets in 10 innings. His economy rate of 6.73 is impressive. Narine is key for KKR’s hopes of winning their third IPL trophy.
