A famous cricket player Sunil Gavaskar criticized Virat Kohli and the TV commentators. Virat Kohli plays for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru team. Kohli was angry that commentators kept complaining about his batting speed. His batting speed was too slow in the middle part of the match. Kohli told the commentators to stop talking about his batting speed.
Virat Kohli targeted the spinners and struck an unbeaten 70 runs off 44 deliveries in an away match against the Gujarat Titans. During a post-match interview, Kohli stated that ‘those in the box’ were not at liberty to discuss his strike rate because they had not experienced the conditions on the field.
In response, Sunil Gavaskar argued that the pundits bring up those stats for a purpose, citing Kohli’s slow half-century against the SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH), in which he made 51 runs off 43 runs at a strike rate of 118.60.
