Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) player Shivam Dube showed great batting skills. He hit long sixes in the team’s IPL 2024 match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). The match took place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Tuesday.
Lucknow won the toss and decided to field first. Shivam Dube came to bat when CSK’s score was 101/3 in 11.5 overs. Dube, a left-handed batter, didn’t waste time. He hit the first six of the match on his fourth ball.
Dube smashed boundaries powerfully that over. Thakur’s 16th over faced Dube’s brutal batting. The pacer gave just 12 runs, took a wicket before this. But one full toss on pads saw Dube muscled it over mid-wicket boundary.
Thakur followed up with a slower ball, which Dube took advantage of by hitting another six over midwicket. The succeeding ball was on the broader side, but it made little difference in the outcome. Shivam Dube hit a hat-trick of sixes, clearing the long-on boundary this time.

Yash Thakur allowed 19 runs in the 16th over. He failed to make amends in his last over, allowing 16 runs and finishing with figures of 4-0-47-1.
