Sanju Samson, Rajasthan Royals’ skipper, displayed a superb effort to run out the menacing Liam Livingstone. This occurred during their IPL 2024 clash against Punjab Kings at Mullanpur on April 13th.
Sanju Samson took the ball and tossed it at the stumps very quickly. It was like MS Dhoni. So, Livingstone had to go back with twenty-one runs off fourteen balls. His innings had one six and two boundaries.
The dismissal occurred in the 18th over of PBKS’ innings. Yuzvendra Chahal produced a tossed-up ball, which Ashutosh Sharma steered to deep midwicket.
Livingstone attempted the second run, but Tanush Kotian delivered a crisp flat throw to Sanju Samson, who slid the ball onto the stumps in a flash. The right-hander had moved a few yards and was trapped short of the crease when the bails lighted up. The third umpire affirmed the dismissal.

Meanwhile, table-leaders Rajasthan Royals won their opening four matches consecutively. However, they suffered a three-wicket defeat against Gujarat Titans in their most recent encounter. Sanju Samson’s team will play next against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens on April 16.
