Sachin Tendulkar is making the most of his first trip to Kashmir. In a recent video circulating on social media, the renowned cricketer played gully cricket with Gulmarg villagers.
The footage surfaced a day after Tendulkar posted a video from the plane after landing at one of India’s most popular places.
IANS, a news agency, released a video of Sachin Tendulkar playing gully cricket on X (previously Twitter), saying:
“Sachin Tendulkar engages in a spirited game of gully cricket with local youngsters during his visit to Gulmarg.”
Earlier in the day, a video went viral on social media showing passengers and personnel onboard the airplane chanting ‘Sachin Sachin’ to welcome his arrival.
The person, who is 50, went to the Kashmir willow bat factory. There, he shared that the first bat his sister gave him was from this place.
He shared a video with this caption:
“The first bat given to me was by my sister and it was a Kashmir willow bat. Ab main yahan hoon to Kashmir willow ko to milna banta hai! P.S.: An interesting fact; some of my favourite bats had only about 5-6 grains. How many grains do your bats have?”

Sachin Tendulkar recently congratulated Yashasvi Jaiswal for his second double-century against England in the ongoing five-match Test series.
He also hailed rookie Sarfaraz Khan for his two half-centuries in the Rajkot Test, in which India defeated England by 434 runs to grab a 2-1 series lead.
