The legendary opener posted pictures on Instagram showing him with wife Ritika and daughter Samaira. The snapshots also captured Rohit rejuvenating via jet-skiing during this pause. He captioned the post as:

Rohit hasn’t had it easy since Hardik Pandya replaced him as Mumbai Indians captain. The five-time IPL winners are now the only winless club in IPL 2024, having lost all three games.
MI desperately need Rohit Sharma to fire all cylinders
One of the many questions surrounding the Mumbai Indians heading into the IPL 2024 season was whether removing the leadership burden will bring out the best in Rohit Sharma as a batter.
Rohit has had many subpar seasons with the bat for MI, and many believed that the job of a specialist hitter would simply free up the experienced opener and let him to recreate the form he shown in the 2023 World Cup.
Rohit showed signs of his ultra-attacking style of cricket, scoring 69 runs in his first two innings at a strike rate close to 170. However, he was removed for a golden duck against the Rajasthan Royals, and MI were unable to recover from the setback.
With the MI batting inconsistent and uncertainty surrounding Suryakumar Yadav’s form when he returns, it is even more important for the former MI captain to set the tone consistently up the order. Mumbai will be hoping for a huge score from Rohit Sharma in the next game against the Delhi Capitals on Sunday, April 7.
